Co- founder of LCP, Debora has worked as LCP company Director; Choreographer and dancer from 2006 to early 2013. Originally from Rome, Debora is an all-around versatile dancer who started her training with gymnastic artistic during her childhood and later continued with dance.
Her training included Ballet; Modern dance; Contemporary dance; Contact improvisation; Flamenco; African Dance; Salsa & Merengue and Latin & Ballroom.
In London Debora studied contemporary dance as an independent artist at The Place, focusing on choreography with release technique and contact improvisation. She continued her professional development in technique; choreography and staging at Birkbeck University and Kensington Chelsea College .
Her artistic and choreographic work, amongst others includes “Rights?” sponsored by BBC Performing Arts ; “Voices 4 Change” and “The Cozette Project” battling against human trafficking; “Droplets” at Peasant Theatre London Fringe; Big Dance; “Fiesta” at the British Library; “60×60” Novus Vox Stratford Theatre.
During her movement exploration, Debora studied documentary film making at KCC College and experimented dance on camera with her first short film “Please do not remove it” which premiered at Portobello Film Festival.
Debora is currently working as an independent artist producing her second dance film; her focus is to continue exploring different medium to investigate movement; dance and camera work.
