Joanna Puchala, LCP artistic director, trained at Post Grad phisical theatre lead by Yasmin Vardimon and Birkbeck University of London in conjunction with The Place LCDS and Mathew Bourne’ New Adventures’. Producer of BBC awarded dance theatre ‘Rights(?)’. A qualified yoga therapist trained with Minded Institute, a leader in yoga/mindfulness/psychotherapy/neuroscience. Her yoga sessions improve performance, focus and concentration by using the body and mind centring. Her contemporary dance classes are based on release and floor work with pilates and yoga principles.
Heidi Seppälä is a choreographer, dance teacher and a performer based in London. She studied dance teaching and choreography in Tartu University in Estonia and graduated as a dancer from TrinityLaban, London in 2012. Heidi started her yoga practise in Finland in 2006, and has been studying and teaching Ashtanga under great teachers such as Petri Räisänen and Jess Glenny. Heidi’s practise draws from years of experience of various somatic disciplines and her yoga class is a physically challenging and dynamic opportunity to cultivate one’s body-awareness in a safe environment. At the moment Heidi is teaching yoga and dance and working as a dancer for LCP Dance Theatre and Figmentations Art Collective, as well as choreographing and presenting her own work around Europe.
