Born in Poland, a contemporary dancer and choreographer. She is an Artistic Director of LCP Dance Theatre based in London. Her artistic commitment is associated with human rights issues. As a dancer and manager of this multiethnic and multimedia dance company she hopes to bring awareness of violated rights such as human trafficking, racism, starvation and much border spectrum of others emphasised by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Joanna produced and danced in LCP’s project, ‘Rights(?)’ awarded by BBC performing Arts Fund 2011 in collaboration with African company – Tavaziva Dance. She choreographed and performed in a very successful dance productions at Edinburgh Fringe Festivals: ” Am I” 2013 & 2014; “I Am” 2015 and aerial dance performance ” Escape” 2016. She was shortlisted three times for the Amnesty International Freedom Expression Award.
